Crafting Bespoke Dials for RWB Builds

Whether it’s a subtle nod to a classic racing livery or a completely bespoke design that breaks all the rules, we believe the gauge cluster is the driver’s primary interface. It should be as special as the car itself.

Working with the RWB community is a pure pleasure for us.  When Akira Nakai-san transforms a 911, he isn’t just adding a widebody kit; he’s giving the car a new soul. As a creator of custom gauge faces, our goal is to ensure that when the driver slides into that bucket seat, the view through the steering wheel is just as legendary as the view from the sidewalk.

For RWB Bonmee, the vibe was all about that iconic Vaillant-inspired teal and the vibrant stripes of the classic livery. We designed a cluster that mirrors this palette perfectly. The teal faces pop against the dark dash, while the orange needles provide that high-contrast, “race-spec” look. We aimed for a seamless transition from the exterior paint to the heart of the dashboard.

The factory gauges are iconic, but on a car where everything is tailored, the cluster is an opportunity: a functional canvas that can echo the exterior identity without shouting over it.

For RWB Tubero, we went with a clean, high-contrast tachometer with RWB logo. While the surrounding gauges remain black, the vibrant orange center serves as a “bright spot” in the cabin.

For the Porsche 997 RWB “Staple” we made vibrant red dials with a subtle green-and-red accent track – a direct reference to the classic rev counter of Porsche’s golden era.

The Advan build is a masterclass in loud, unapologetic color. When this pink and acid green RWB showed up in my DMs, I knew we had to go full send. The owner wanted something chaotic and fun — so we delivered.

A Rising Sun themed faces — a subtle nod to RWB’s Japanese heritage. This cluster is proof that in an RWB, there are no rules — only vision.

Based in Toronto, RWB Adamae is a stunning example of a clean yet aggressive red-and-black build.

Sometimes the best customization is contrast and balance — details that look OEM-plus at first glance, then reveal themselves.

Let’s Build Your Vision

If you are currently waiting for your “birth” date with Nakai-san or looking to refresh your current air-cooled cockpit, we would love to help you design a one-of-one instrument cluster. Every RWB is different; we believe your gauges should be too.
